Girl Born with leg and no arms

Nature has bot been kind to her, but she does not complain. Naseeba, 12, was born with only one leg and a short deformed arm. Defying her acute disability, the girl has not only excelled in studies, sports and painting, but also helps her mother in domestic chores and teacher children in her village after school.
She deftly uses her only foot like her hand for eating, writing, drawing, playing and taking care of others things.
Naseeba belongs to Sasoi village in sonipat district where her father Shahabuddin works as a welder . A student at Renu Vidya Mandir, an institute of special education, vocational rehabilitation and research located in Sonipat, she has three brothers and a sister.
Thanks to the vocational training, physiotherapy and occupational therapy at the institute, Naseeba has developed a flair for painting, taste for music and excelled in sports.

Despite her dibilitating disability, in three of her four limbs, she has received the gold medal at a district level wheel chair race. She is preparing for the state level competition.

"Mathematics is my favourite subject, I also tech children at my village. I like listening to music and participating in sports. I am fond of drawing and painting," said Naseeba.

"I want to become a teacher when i grow up." she said on being asked about her aspiration.

Naseeba's teacher point out she not only takes care of her personal routine, but helps her mother with cooking and other domestic chores. In her spare time, she likes to watch television.

"We have different sections for special and normal chiildern. Naseeba had joined the section meant for the special children, but seeing her performance, we shifted her to the regular section. She is good at studies." says Dhawni Gupta, director of the institute.
